CEMLA held a meeting of the Committee of Alternates at its headquarters in Mexico City, with the participation of representatives from Associated and Collaborating Central Banks.

Among the topics discussed were the review of the 2025–2029 Strategic Plan, the redefinition of the Operational Architecture, the results of ENDEVAT-2025, the Preliminary Program of Activities for 2026, as well as the Center's financial statements and the Retirement Plan.

The session also included a review of the CEMLA 2025 Central Bank Award and the presentation of the Banco Central do Brasil's proposal for the creation of a Forum of Central Bank Secretariats.

The meeting reaffirmed CEMLA's role as a platform for regional cooperation, aimed at strengthening the technical and governance capacities of central banks in Latin America and the Caribbean.
