Joint Research Program

The Joint Research Program has been carried out since 2005, at the request of the then president of the Board of Government of CEMLA, Martín Redrado. The objective of the Program is to promote joint research taking advantage of the different strengths of central banks and at the same time generating the transfer of knowledge among its researchers. Thus, annually the heads of the central banks' study members of the Steering Committee of the Network of Researchers of Central Banks analyze joint research proposals and select one or two of them to be carried out over a period of about one year. From the research works carried out a selection is made to present at the annual meetings of the Network of Researchers.
