Objective
The Committee of Alternates is a governing body of CEMLA, composed of representatives of the Associate Members that are part of the Board of Governors, as well as invited Collaborating Members. In this edition, representatives of the central banks of Argentina, El Salvador, Brazil, Spain, Colombia, Mexico and Belize, together with the Federal Reserve Board and the Bank of Canada, are participating.
The Committee acts as a strategic liaison between CEMLA's General Directorate and the Governors of the central bank members of the Board of Governors, facilitating their participation in the Center's activities. Its work is carried out in accordance with the Terms of Reference approved by the Board of Governors.
Aimed at
Officials of the associated central banks and collaborating members of the Board of Governors, appointed as representatives to the Committee of Alternates.
