Content
The course will cover the following topics: introduction to payment methods and instruments; concepts and types of financial market infrastructures; risks in financial market infrastructures; principles applicable to financial market infrastructures; responsibilities of central banks, market regulators and other relevant authorities vis-à-vis financial market infrastructures; supervision of financial market infrastructures; financial market; operation of a market infrastructure, as in the case of Latin America, as well as innovations in payment systems.
Objective
The main objective of this course is to broaden participants' knowledge of the design, operation, regulation and supervision of financial market infrastructures by participating in in-depth discussions of various current issues.
