IX Meeting of Experts on the Fight of Money Counterfeiting

The objective of the IX Meeting of Experts on Combating Counterfeiting of Currency is to analyze activities and tools for training security elements for professionals and the public, internal methods and equipment of national analysis centers, recirculation controls and applications for users. In particular, international counterfeiting statistics and developments identified in the last three years regarding the techniques used by counterfeiters will be discussed, among other topics. The event is aimed at officials of CEMLA member central banks (associates and collaborators), as well as representatives of police agencies responsible for the prosecution of the crime of counterfeiting currency.
