The seminar will cover topics such as the application of Data Science in economic forecasting, in identifying early warning indicators, in the production of statistics and in financial regulation and supervision, among others.

Objective

The seminar seeks an exchange of ideas and experiences in central banking in Latin America and the Caribbean on the progress made and initiatives being carried out in the field of Big Data and Data Analytics, as well as to learn how these techniques are increasingly being incorporated into the usual instrumentation of such banking and identify possibilities for collaboration on these issues between central institutes in the region.

The seminar is aimed at economists and data scientists who are developing Big Data or Data Analytics Projects.
