Workshop on Climate Financial Risks

This workshop offers a collaborative and applied learning experience, where participants work in groups to develop a guided joint research project. The initiative aims to advance environmental and climate risk analysis methodologies, maintaining high academic standards and fostering cross-institutional collaboration. Organized by CEMLA’s Climate Financial Risk Center (CFRC), the workshop is financially supported by United Nationatios Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) through the Euroclima+ Program.

The 2025 edition will build on the research initiated by the 2024 cohort, providing participants with the opportunity to refine and expand on previous work while engaging with updated methodologies and case studies. The workshop will be held in person at CEMLA’s headquarters in Mexico City, fostering dynamic interactions and active collaboration among participants. This workshop is aimed at analysts and researchers from central banks and supervisory authorities who are involved in financial stability analysis and seek to enhance their understanding of climate-related financial risks.
