Content
The program includes presentations by specialists on governance from Banco de España, as well as lectures by academics and researchers. Of special interest will be a presentation by an academic on the current governance situation in Latin American central banks and its prospects. The program allows for group debates and a final session on conclusions from the Seminar.
Objective
Share thoughts and consider the current framework and environment under which central banks operate, and the strategies they are following. The Seminar seeks to promote dialogue between the various representatives of the participating central banks in terms of which are the governance models and the best practices to follow.
Aimed at
Professionals from CEMLA’s Latin American and the Caribbean member central banks who have a thorough understanding of central bank governance issues, allowing them to participate actively in the discussions of the Seminar and its working groups.
