Content
The seminar program will consist of presentations by the event coordinator; as well as participants from central banks of the region. The presentations will address: a) the challenges involved in measuring the transactions of some goods and services, such as manufacturing, merchanting, construction, digital trade (of goods and services), among others; and b) the solutions that has been proposed for their measurement and the methods used.
Objetive
Present and comment on the conceptual and measurement aspects of international trade in goods and services; as well as promoting an exchange of ideas and experiences between the participants on the measurement processes of these international transactions.
Aimed at
Officials from the central banks of Latin America and the Caribbean or from other institutions that participate in the preparation and/or analysis of balance of payments statistics, in particular those corresponding to international trade in goods and services.
